CENTERFORCE clutch systems are designed
with the diverse needs of the customer, or end user in mind. Because of these
diverse needs, Centerforce offers a multilevel line to meet the requirements
of a wide range of vehicles and their intended uses.
To obtain the proper system, it is extremely important to completely qualify
and verify the vehicle, not only by its make and model year, but also "define"
its intended use. A stock vehicle used for commuting to and from the work place
has an entirely different requirement than a "high performance" vehicle
driven at the extreme of its capabilities, and sometimes beyond!

Clutches
CENTERFORCE
I (the
original) - offers 30% more holding capacity than a stock 'OEM' clutch while
maintaining a stock pedal feel. This system is recommended as the finest quality
'upgrade' from the original equipment clutch.
CENTERFORCE
II Provides 60%
greater holding capacity over a standard factory clutch. It is recommended for
use with 'mildly modified' vehicles used for "street and strip". This
unit has also proven itself to be very capable for four wheel drive and off-road
use, also heavy duty towing and commercial applications.
CENTERFORCE DUAL FRICTION
Generates up to a 90% increase in holding capacity
over
stock systems. This clutch/disc set is designed for use with engines producing
'high horsepower and torque' output, and any radically altered high performance
street vehicles. This system is also ideally suited for use with four wheel
drive vehicles. All Centerforce clutch systems provide smooth engagement and
light pedal pressure without compromising high performance.

LMC
Series (Light Metal Clutch)
The CENTERFORCE LMC Series is designed for road racing and circle track enthusiasts. Manufactured from high strength aluminum billet with a riveted heat shield, this new series of Light Metal Clutch covers uses a patented 'Ball Bearing' actuated diaphragm (patent #5499704). This patented ball bearing actuated diaphragm allows increased clamping force while maintaining comfortable pedal pressure. Used in conjunction with CENTERFORCE Aluminum flywheels, these units bring 'Light Weight' to it's optimum!
